1.4021 - Martensitic stainless steel with high hardness and strength

1.4021 is a martensitic stainless steel containing about 12-14% chromium and is characterized by its high hardness and strength. This alloy offers good resistance to wear and is therefore ideal for applications where high mechanical loads and abrasion resistance are required. Compared to other types of stainless steel, 1.4021 has medium corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable in environments where moderate corrosion requirements exist.

Properties:

Corrosion resistance: The alloy has medium corrosion resistance but is not suitable for aggressive environments.
