1.4410 / X2CrNiMoN25-7-4
1.4410 is a high-alloy, austenitic stainless steel (super duplex) with excellent corrosion resistance.
1.4410 – Super-Duplex stainless steel for outstanding corrosion resistance and strength
1.4410 is a high-alloy, austenitic stainless steel (super-duplex) that is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. With a high content of chromium, nickel and molybdenum, this alloy offers particularly good protection against pitting corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride-containing environments. Due to its exceptional mechanical properties, 1.4410 is mainly used in demanding, corrosive environments.
Properties:
Excellent corrosion resistance: 1.4410 offers excellent protection against pitting corrosion, acids and aggressive chemicals.
High strength: Due to the duplex structure, the alloy combines high strength with good ductility.
Heat resistance: It retains its strength even at higher temperatures.
Weldability: 1.4410 is easy to weld, but requires special processes to ensure the best properties.
Applications:
1.4410 is mainly used in the chemical industry, oil and gas industry, water treatment plants, boiler construction and marine applications where both corrosion resistance and high strength are required.
