1.4539 - High-alloy stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance

1.4539, also known as Alloy 904L, is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel that is characterized by its outstanding corrosion resistance. With a high content of nickel, chromium and molybdenum, this alloy offers excellent protection against pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in highly corrosive environments such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and chloride-containing media. 1.4539 is often used in the chemical, petrochemical and food industries.
