1.4923 is a high-alloy stainless steel that is characterized by outstanding heat resistance and corrosion protection at extreme temperatures up to 1,200°C. This alloy contains a high proportion of chromium and nickel and is particularly resistant to oxidation and chemical influences in hot environments. 1.4923 is often used in applications where the highest temperatures and high resistance to corrosion are required, such as in power generation, gas turbines and high-temperature reactors.

Properties:

Excellent heat resistance: 1.4923 remains stable and corrosion-resistant even at extremely high temperatures up to 1,200°C.

High corrosion resistance: The alloy offers excellent protection against oxidation and chemical attack in hot environments.

Good processability: 1.4923 is easy to weld and machine, making it ideal for demanding applications.
Applications:
1.4923 is mainly used in power generation, gas turbines, hot gas plants and in the aviation industry, where both high temperature resistance and excellent corrosion protection are required.
